Job description

At Elevation Church, we look to link arms in ministry with those who are passionate about stepping into their God-given calling. While we're a staff from all different backgrounds and walks of life, our mission is the same - to reach people with the Gospel. We're grounded in scripture and guided by our values, so check out our website (www.elevationchurch.org) to be sure you're aligned before you step into the application process with us, particularly paying attention to our Beliefs and our Code.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
  • Manage multiple environment-related projects from planning through execution.
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and suppliers - including sourcing, obtaining bids, and overseeing work.
  • Maintain and track project timelines, budgets, quotes, and expenses.
  • Conduct regular site walkthroughs to monitor progress and troubleshoot issues.
  • Serve as a communication hub between Design, Construction, Facilities, campus teams, and external partners.

Interior Design Support
  • Maintain and oversee the inventory of furniture and décor - including warehouse organization, tracking, and processing returns.
  • Manage weekly requests for furniture and décor across campuses (chairs, tables, décor items, etc.).
  • Proactively identify worn, aging, or damaged furniture and décor and manage replacements and installations.
  • Support space planning, furniture specifications, and design implementation as needed.
  • Ensure all environments reflect Elevation Church's brand standards, values, and hospitality culture.

Campus Environment Oversight
  • Manage multi-campus needs, including refresh cycles, small upgrades, repairs, and special projects.
  • Support setup and design needs for events, expansions, or ministry-specific requests.
  • Maintain strong relationships with campus staff, ensuring spaces remain functional, welcoming, and ministry-ready.
MUST-HAVES
  • Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community).
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in interior design, construction, architecture, or facilities operations.
  • Foundational knowledge of interior design (materials, finishes, furniture specs, and space planning).
  • Strong vendor coordination skills (sourcing, bidding, scheduling, quality control).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and digital organization systems.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, quoting, and cost tracking.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Experience working in a non-profit environment or ministry setting.
  • Formal training or certification in project management or interior design.
  • Experience in multi-site, commercial, hospitality, or ministry environments.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools or design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Experience managing warehouse inventory or procurement workflows.
  • Knowledge of Elevation's aesthetic, brand voice, and hospitality standards.
DAY-TO-DAY
  • We're typically a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we're in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we're supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses. (Note: There will be after-hours and on-call expectations included in this role. Our Operations team works hard to prevent issues, and we work together to support each other and our campuses when issues do arise).
  • There will be after-hours and on-call expectations included in this role. Our Operations Team works hard to prevent issues, and we work together to support each other and our campuses when issues do arise.
  • There's a lot to accomplish each week, so we're pretty fast-paced. We're also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
  • Yes, we work hard. But we're good at playing hard, too. We're a creative staff, so there's no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
  • You can't help but grow on our staff. You'll be around some incredible people. Professional development opportunities will be all around you, both in structured and unstructured ways.
  • We expect you to be disciplined in your spiritual practices - be in your Bible, spend time with the Lord in prayer, meditate on and apply the weekly sermon.
  • Bring your full self to every project, conversation, and initiative at hand.
BENEFITS
  • Elevation Church pays 100% of every employee's medical benefits for full-time staff
  • 403b with 4% match
  • Dental & Vision benefits
  • Paid time off for life, vacations, and rest
  • Elevation Church subsidizes 6 sessions of counseling annually
  • Basic Life Insurance for employee, spouse, and child(ren)
