Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced BI Platform Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise analytics platforms including Tableau Cloud, Qlik Cloud, Power BI Service, and Spotfire Server. This role is responsible for ensuring secure access, robust governance, high availability, and scalable analytics capabilities across the organization, including support for regulated (GxP) environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Administration
  • Administer and maintain BI platforms: Tableau Cloud, Qlik Cloud, Power BI Service, and Spotfire Server.
  • Configure platform settings, security controls, performance tuning, and upgrades/patching.
  • Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and identity providers (Azure AD / LDAP).
  • Implement and maintain SCIM or automated user provisioning mechanisms.

2. User & Access Management
  • Manage users and groups using Active Directory (AD) / Azure AD / LDAP.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) across all platforms.
  • Assign appropriate platform roles (e.g., Viewer, Creator, Admin).
  • Design and maintain group-based access structures for scalable governance.

3. Content & Workspace Governance
  • Define and maintain content structures:
    • Tableau Projects
    • Qlik Spaces
    • Power BI Workspaces
    • Spotfire Libraries
  • Set and enforce permissions for dashboards, datasets, and applications.
  • Establish naming conventions, lifecycle policies, and publishing workflows.

4. Data Refresh & Scheduling
