Role: AWS Redshift DBA
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
Experience: 12+ years as a DBA that include Database & Query Performance Tuning
Hands-on DB and Server troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of day-to-day database operations, deployments, and development
Extensive database experience with RDS and AWS Redshift
Redshift and Aurora Cluster & Database Administration support
Must have excellent Redshift experience along with DBA knowledge
Excellent understanding of the AWS architecture (RDS, S3)
Hands-on experience with Python scripting & Automation
Optimizing and tuning the Redshift environment including Cluster, Database & SQL queries
Knowledge of Data Replication, Data Sharing & Data Modelling including Logical and Physical data source
Good knowledge of analyzing explaining plan and tune workloads to improve runtime
Good knowledge of Workload Management within Redshift along with queue mgmt.
Knowledge of ADFS and User Access management
Knowledge of setting up Cloud Monitoring and Alert Metrics management
Good to have an Apache airflow experience
