Better Living specializes in the reunification of families through a collaborative effort with DHHS. As a Family Support/Visitation Specialist, you will be an essential part of the reunification process by focusing on enhancing an enriching environment that cultivates the healthy development of a child, tracking the progress of the families you work with, setting and obtaining goals to accomplish a safe, supportive, and loving home.

Pay:

Without bachelor's degree - $20/hour

With bachelor's degree - $21/hour

Education/Certification Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required) with two years of experience in a human service related position. Associate's degree and one year of experience or bachelor's degree in a human services field (preferred). Human services experience examples are social work, counseling/guidance, psychology, sociology, human development, child, youth and family studies, mental health education or a closely related human service field.

Job Type: Flexible Schedule. Evening and weekend hours are required. Weekly and daily schedules will vary depending on client availability - flexibility and an extended work week may be required

Willingness to Travel: 50% (Required) using personal vehicle with paid mileage

Work Location: In-home services - multiple locations
