• Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from various conditions, including injuries, surgeries, and chronic illnesses.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques such as exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy interventions based on individual responses and evolving needs.
• Document treatment plans, including patient interactions and outcomes, in compliance with clinical regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and coordinate services among healthcare providers.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes, home exercises, and the use of assistive devices.
• Participate in professional development activities to maintain licensure, enhance your skills, and stay abreast of industry advancements.

As a Physical Therapist at Better Living Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors. You will address a range of conditions from acute injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain and mobility issues. • A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health record systems.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with various therapeutic modalities and equipment.
