This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Organization

At Better Living Physical Therapy, we prioritize fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture. Our commitment to treating each other well underpins our mission to provide high-quality care to our patients. We are dedicated to education, innovation, and research, working collaboratively to advance the practice of physical therapy. Our goal is to ensure that every member of our team feels valued and connected, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our services.

Work Environment

This position operates in an onsite home care environment, where our Physical Therapists visit patients in their homes. Such a setting allows therapists to deliver personalized care and rehabilitation services tailored to individual patient needs. You will work Monday to Friday within a structured schedule that balances patient care appointments with administrative duties. The dynamic and supportive atmosphere encourages teamwork and communication among staff, creating a collaborative environment conducive to high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing pertinent medical history and conducting specific assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, ensuring inclusivity in goal-setting for rehabilitation.
  • Implement treatment protocols that are informed by clinical evidence and tailored to each patient’s unique physical condition and health needs.
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers when necessary, adapting care plans based on real-time patient condition assessments and feedback.
  • Document all patient interactions meticulously, including initial evaluations, treatment notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain productivity standards through effective time management and scheduling, ensuring timely arrival for patient appointments and meetings.
  • Engage in departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing care accessibility, quality, and patient satisfaction.
  • Adopt an active approach to continuing education, pursuing opportunities that contribute to personal and professional growth, and mentoring the next generation of therapists.
  • Participate in community-based marketing activities to promote Better Living Physical Therapy and engage with potential patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a provider at Better Living Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain conditions, or undergoing rehabilitation post-injury. The aim is to empower patients through personalized care plans, improving their mobility and overall quality of life. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to their goal of achieving functional independence.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association, specifically for Healthcare Providers.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development through participation in relevant continuing education programs.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist is preferred, ideally in a home care or outpatient therapy setting.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with documentation systems and electronic health records used for patient management.
Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, Better Living Physical Therapy offers a robust benefits package, including:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays and personal days.
  • Access to wellness programs and health initiatives.
  • Ongoing professional development support and opportunities for continuing education.
  • Employee Health Assistance Fund for financial support in emergency situations.
Career Growth Opportunities

Better Living Physical Therapy is committed to the professional growth of our staff. We encourage our Physical Therapists to pursue further education and specialization in fields relevant to their interests and career goals. Opportunities for advancement include leadership roles within the clinic, clinical instructor positions, or participation in innovative projects aimed at improving patient care practices.
