Job Summary:

The Integration Engineer will bridge healthcare data systems with the clinical AI platform, working on data integrations, collaborating with various teams, and optimizing performance across integrations.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain healthcare data integrations using Python, HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Collaborate with product and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable, testable integration flows.
• Coordinate with offshore teams on implementation, review, and QA.
• Monitor and optimize performance across live integrations, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Contribute to reusable components and integration templates that improve delivery efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and ensure smooth resolution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare integration or interoperability engineering.
• Strong understanding of HL7 v2, FHIR, and X12 standards.
• Hands-on experience with Python and at least one integration engine (Mirth, Rhapsody, InterSystems IRIS, or Redox).
• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and SQL.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong ownership mindset with attention to reliability, scalability, and quality
Preferred:
• Familiarity with EHR APIs (Epic, Cerner, AthenaOne, or similar).
• Knowledge of FHIR bulk data workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), or cloud-based deployment pipelines.
• Background in AI/ML data pipelines or healthcare analytics.
