Join the Promise Healthcare Board of Directors and help empower positive change in the health of our community.

Do you have a passion for serving your community and have experience and/or expertise that can help advance Promise Healthcare?โ€ฏ We are looking for members for our volunteer board.โ€ฏ If you are a patient, community member, or even a parent of one of our patients, you may qualify for this position. As a Promise Healthcare patient, your firsthand experience with our services gives you the unique ability to help identify opportunities for us to grow and improve. Your valuable contribution will help us succeed in fulfilling our mission of "Promise Healthcare seeks to be the premier healthcare provider for all regardless of ability to pay by exceeding patient expectations and improving the health of our community."

Board members volunteer 6-8 evening hours per month. Regular board meetings are currently held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm, Meetings are virtual at this time - with the occasional in-person meeting. Meeting attendance is essential for the Board to function cohesively and be effectively informed.

โ€ฏTo be considered to serve on the Promise Healthcare Board, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Routinely access our services as a patient
  • Not be employed or have any family members who are employed by Promise Healthcare
  • Must live or work in Champaign County
