Duties: As part of the SaaS billing and Revenue Management solution on the Engineering team, work on the development of new Services and APIs, in close collaboration with engineers, UI designers, and product managers, contributing to software quality and best practices. Examples of responsibilities include: Working cross-functionally with senior-level engineers across the organization; Designing integration architecture to address business problems comprehensively; Researching and recommending frameworks and design patterns; Approaching problem-solving holistically, considering structure, process, and technology; Identifying outdated processes and recommending non-disruptive improvements; Communicating project status to technical leadership through written and oral reports; Ensuring system documentation is complete and up to date; and Mentoring peers, sharing expertise to aid in their development.
Requirements: 4 years of experience working with: Java back-end; Spring Core, Data, Boot, Security or a similar framework; JPA, Hibernate or similar ORM frameworks; Typescript/JavaScript front-end development with ReactJS/Angular and NodeJS frameworks; Relational databases, such as MySQL, Mariadb, or Postgres; Frontend and backend test automation frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress, Cucumber or similar; Build and package management tools like Maven, Gradle, SBT, or NPM; CI/CD frameworks and technologies like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes or HELM. 3 years of experience working with: Scalable, event-driven systems; Caching/searching frameworks like Redis or ElasticSearch; Platform monitoring frameworks like ELK stack, Logic Monitor, Sumologic, or Prometheus; Cloud technologies like AWS or GCP. 2 years of experience working with: Event-streaming frameworks like Kafka or Rabbit MQ; FinTech or Telecom. 1 year of experience working with: Wicket or GWT framework or similar; Decentralized SCM systems like GIT. Willingness to participate in an architectural design exercise and demonstrate the ability to: Design integration architecture to address business problems comprehensively; Research and recommend frameworks and design patterns; and Approach problem-solving holistically, considering structure, process, and technology.
