Equifax, a leader in product innovation, is seeking a Benefit Solutions Product Manager to join our Employer Services team. If you are passionate about building great products and experiences for clients, and possess an analytical mind with an understanding (or willingness to learn) about data, features, competitors, and delivering value to clients, we encourage you to apply!
As the Product Manager for Equifax benefits solutions, you will be responsible for helping deliver and support award-winning identity theft protection and financial wellness solutions. Your responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing product and consumer needs and assisting the Benefit Solutions Product Lead in implementing the product roadmap. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve current solutions and introduce new ones.
The Product Manager will work a hybrid schedule, with in-office work (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and remote flexibility on Monday and Friday. The ideal location is our Clayton office in St Louis, though we are open to candidates who can work from our Atlanta office.
What You'll Do:
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders and explore new market opportunities, translating business goals into creative solutions. Your expertise will empower customer decisions by enabling access to data and insights.
  • Support creation of business cases, product roadmaps, and product strategy.
  • Understand market drivers, the competitive landscape, and customer needs
  • Prepare for and support product releases
  • Tracking, monitoring and ensuring effective performance of the product including attainment of revenue and margin objectives
  • Work with design team, content writers, and legal and compliance to assist in the development and maintenance of proper product documentation
  • Providing descriptions and requirement definition for product development, understanding product trade-offs and driving alignment
  • Product lifecycle management
  • Additional tasks as needed related to product management

What experience you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in product management in a SaaS/product -oriented software setting or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as needed

What could set you apart:
  • Experience working in Financial Services, Technology, or B2B2C is beneficial - though not required
  • A passion for improving customer experience and a desire to learn new technologies, business domains, and grow cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated experience delivering new solutions and/or growing existing solutions in a SaaS environment or with AI tools
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, clients/partners, and suppliers
  • Polished communication skills, both presentational and written. Able to convey complex ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Understanding of product roadmaps and balancing prioritization between external needs and internal constraints
  • Understanding of the Product Life Cycle and how software products are designed, built and matured in an agile SaaS environment
  • Experience with Product Methodology within the Pragmatic Marketing framework
