Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Configuration Manager Analyst II in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services. Founded in 1999 by Travis Mack, Saalex Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned and Operated business with prime and subcontract expertise serving the Navy, Army, Air Force, NASA, corporate clients, and local governments. Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.
Salary: $65k-$115k (depending on experience)
The Configuration Manager Analyst II supports the Navy by managing configuration control processes, system baselines, and change management activities for IT, cybersecurity, and engineering systems in distributed environments.
Essential Functions:
  • Manage configuration management (CM) processes for IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity assets.
  • Maintain and control system baselines and configuration items (CIs).
  • Support and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and formal change management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and program configuration management standards (e.g., EIA-649).
  • Track, document, and audit system changes, versions, and releases.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams to validate configurations.
  • Support audits, inspections, and reporting activities.

Requirements
Required:
  • 3-5 years of experience in configuration management, IT, or related field.
  • Experience with configuration management principles, tools, or documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with CM tools (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, CMDBs, or version control systems).

Desired:
  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs.
  • Familiarity with EIA-649, ITIL, or similar configuration management frameworks.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, or system baselines.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
