Position Summary
Oversees accurate and timely billing across all levels of care. Ensures authorization alignment, maximizes reimbursement, minimizes denials, and maintains payer compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Submit UB-04 and CMS-1500 claims
  • Align authorized vs billed days
  • Manage per diem, case rate, and unit billing
  • Monitor clean claim rate and submission lag
  • Resolve rejections and underpayments
  • Prepare appeals for medical necessity and auth denials
  • Collaborate with UR and Collections
  • Validate contract rate accuracy
Qualifications

  • 3+ years behavioral health billing
    - Multi-LOC experience (Detox, Res, PHP, IOP)
    - Strong UB-04 expertise
    - In-network and OON billing exposure
    - Revenue code and CPT/HCPCS fluency
  • Position is on site in West Palm Beach
Ability to pass a level 2 background check: HB531 | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration
