Job description

Position Summary The Senior Manager, Global Change Management, reporting to the Associate Director, Global Change Management, is responsible for leading end-to-end change management strategies and execution for large-scale, complex, enterprise initiatives supporting Marriott Vacations Worldwide. This role partners with functional senior business leaders, technology leaders, HR teams, training teams, and the Global Communications CoE to drive successful adoption and sustained behavior change, with a focus on the associate and/or owner experience. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and limited oversight, the Senior Manager serves as a trusted advisor, designing and delivering integrated change strategies and execution and contributing to the advancement of Global Change Management tools, frameworks, and best practices. Specifically, the Senior Manager will design and conduct stakeholder assessments to identify impacted audience groups and lead the development of engagement strategies, lead change readiness activities, and monitor adoption and proficiency levels. Responsibilities include designing change champion networks as needed, tracking metrics and reporting, and managing stakeholders. The role will also engage in activities that support engagement programs, recognition efforts, and culture-building initiatives, facilitate feedback channels, provide direct support to project teams during transitions, and collaborate with global business leaders to ensure culturally relevant and appropriately localized change management. Expected Contributions Global Change Management · Leads stakeholder analyses to identify impacted audience groups and develop engagement strategies. · Designs and executes readiness assessments, surveys, and focus groups to assess preparedness. · Defines and monitors adoption rates and proficiency levels through development of KPIs and metrics. · Designs and enables change champion networks to support engagement and feedback loops. Associate Experience · Partners with HR teams and Global Communications CoE to support engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives. · Leverages surveys, focus groups, and feedback channels to inform change strategies. · Serves as the primary change lead supporting project teams through transition and adoption. · Ensures change activities are culturally relevant and appropriately localized. · Aligns initiatives with company values, culture, and recognition programs. General Operations · Leads large, complex change initiatives or multiple workstreams end-to-end with minimal oversight. · Contributes to development of change management tools, templates, and playbooks. · Drives cross-functional integration with HR, Global Technology, Finance, and other departments. · Identifies and implements enhancements to change management processes and methodologies. · Partners with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to drive alignment and adoption. Candidate Profile Education: · BA or BS Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Talent/Organizational Development, Marketing, or Human Resources. · Master’s degree in business administration, Communications, Talent/Organizational Development, Marketing, or Human Resources preferred. Experience: · Minimum of 6 years in change management, HR, or related discipline. · Minimum of 3 years in project management. · Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-level change initiatives. · Proven experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments. · Proven experience of consulting to business leaders and designing, developing, and implementing organizational capability solutions. · Timeshare/hospitality/lodging industry experience a plus. Attributes/Skills: · Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. · High attention to detail with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. · Proven ability to drive behavioral change and adoption across an organization. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in complex, fast-paced environments. · Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization. · Strong organizational and project management skills. · Ability to operate independently with limited oversight. · Must have excellent people skills with a proven ability to quickly build rapport and trust. · Demonstrates professional demeanor. · Must be a self-starter and able to work independently while also being a strong, collaborative team player. · Strong collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills. · Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) · Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications. Intermediate level of proficiency in Office 365 suite of applications, especially SharePoint, Viva Engage, and OneDrive. · Effective presentation and facilitation skills required. · Position based onsite.
