Job description

BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA) (Job Description)

Overview:

Achieve Behavior Partners, LLC, provides ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorders and other behavioral concerns. We provide services across the Tampa Bay area in schools, homes, day cares, after-care programs, clinics, and community areas. Our main clinic is located in S. Tampa with additional satellite clinics located in S. Tampa, Seffner, Bloomingdale, and Plant City. Our services are provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Therapists, and licensed School Psychologists. Our goals are to enhance a person’s ability to function independently through collaborative and supportive teams.

We are currently looking for qualified and experience Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in a career with a small but rapidly growing company. Our BCBAs are considered part of our leadership team and are instrumental in the operation of our company.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments/Analyses

·        Conduct skills assessments using various measures such as, VB-MAPP, ABLLS, Essentials for Living

·        Develop Behavior Analysis Services Plans

·        Develop Implementation Proficiency Checklists and Data Sheets

·        Provide direct clinical services for clients when needed

·        Supervise and model procedures for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Therapists

·        Train caregivers, staff, and other team members on the implementation of Behavior Analysis Services Plans

·        Monitor implementation of plans through direct observation using implementation proficiency checklists

·        Collect ongoing data of targeted behaviors and replacement behaviors

·        Graph and analyze data on a weekly basis and/or oversee those graphing data

·        Complete quarterly and annual summaries of services and progress on assigned clients

·        Complete all documentation required by third-party funding sources on assigned clients

·        Complete detailed service logs on all services provided

·        Provide clinical supervision to Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) and candidates for board certification

·        Potential for assisting with training opportunities for BCaBAs, RBTs, and Behavior Therapists

·        Maintain certification by obtaining necessary continuing education credits as specified by the BACB

·        Obtain and maintain current certifications required such as, CPR and PCM

·        Attend all staff and leadership team meetings

·        Ability to provide personal transportation to and from client location

 

Qualifications:

·        Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Related Field

·        National Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

·        Minimum of 1-year of experience providing services to persons with disabilities in home, community, and clinic settings.

·        Experience supervising RBTs and/or Behavior Therapists preferred

·        Experience in Verbal Behavior assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS) preferred

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills
