They often work with clients who have conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities. Behavioral Case Managers assess client needs, monitor progress, and collaborate with healthcare providers, families, and community resources to ensure effective support. This collaborative approach helps ensure clients receive holistic care that addresses both their behavioral and medical needs.

To thrive as a Behavioral Case Manager, you need a solid background in psychology, social work, or counseling, often supported by a relevant bachelor's or master's degree and, in some cases, state licensure.
