Job description

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Oshkosh, WI 54903

Duration: 6 months (Possible extension)

Pay rate: $26/hr.

Setting: Corrections

Scheduling options: 40 hours/week

  • Rotating 8-hour shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm), every other weekend and assigned holidays.

  • Rotating 8-hour shift (10 pm - 06:30 am), every other weekend and assigned holidays.

Overview: The CNA provides direct patient care and support services to individuals within a secure correctional healthcare environment. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs), and healthcare providers, the CNA assists with activities of daily living, monitors patient conditions, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to the delivery of safe, compassionate, and effective healthcare services.

Qualifications

  • Active Wisconsin CNA license (or ability to get reciprocity)

  • Previous correctional healthcare, behavioral health, long-term care, hospital, or skilled nursing experience is preferred

  • Active CPR/BLS or the ability to obtain it.
