Job description

We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In this role, you will provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities while working closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and clinical team.

This is a great opportunity for those interested in psychology, behavioral health, education, or mental health careers. No prior certification? We provide support and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services in a clinic setting.
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as designed by the BCBA
  • Collect and record accurate behavioral data during each session
  • Support the development of communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Maintain timely and accurate session notes and documentation
  • Collaborate with supervisors and clinical team regarding client progress
  • Assist with caregiver training and implementation of behavior strategies
  • Attend team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or 40-hour training preferred (not required)
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet state requirements
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with autism, ABA therapy, or developmental disabilities
  • Background in behavioral health, mental health, childcare, or special education
  • Previous roles such as Behavior Technician, RBT, BT, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, or Caregiver
