Job description

CASE is looking for a motivated, curious and detail-oriented intern to support strategy and account management teams with consumer, category and cultural research for our clients. In this internship you will build your resume while gaining first-hand knowledge of insight gathering, brand development, and strategic frameworks.

As a CASE intern, you will: 

   Work collaboratively with CASE teams to help clients discover their unique value propositions and define differentiated brand platforms. 

   Engage in internal briefings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives and ensure effective alignment with the clients goals.

   Conduct research and identify insights at the intersection of consumer, company, competition.

Keep pace with industry and platform trends to gain a thorough understanding of the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle industries.

   Prepare clear, well-organized discovery decks that synthesize findings and insights

   Streamline research and insights to create clear and compelling recommendations across brand, social, digital, and packaging strategies; help build strategic narratives and inform brand storytelling.

   Attend client meetings and assist in presenting findings when possible.

   Support the Account Management Teams by participating in internal reviews; helping facilitate the process of routing deliverables for client approval

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Pursuing a BA/BS degree; previous internship experience in a creative 

environment (advertising agency or design firm) preferred. 

Dynamic, positive and solution-oriented with a talent for building relationships.

Obsessed with the beauty/haircare/fashion industries, with a desire to always know what's new and next.

Highly-organized and detail-oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Fluent in presentation software (Keynote, PowerPoint or Google slides).

Experience with common research platforms (Mintel, Simmons or similar).

Familiarity with common web analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, Google Analytics or similar) preferred.

U.S. citizen or authorized to live and work in the U.S.

Location: NYC

Duration: Approximately 10 - 14 weeks 

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) 

Compensation: CASE interns are paid hourly and are not eligible for benefits
