As a Beauty Consultant, you bring this experience to life by making every interaction in Cosmetics and Skin Care meaningful, personalized, and inspiring. You connect with guests through product recommendations, beautyexpertise, sampling, and solution-based selling that helps guests discover products and routines tailored to their needs, lifestyle, and budget. Through authentic, guest-first interactions, you create confidence-building experiences that make beauty easy, rewarding, and enjoyable, while driving loyalty,basket-building, and sales growth.

• Adaptingcommunication style to buildatrusting relationship with guests and influence beauty regimens

• Providingpersonalized beauty product and regimen recommendations through guest engagement, product training,andsampling

• Retail business fundamentalsincludinginventory management, guest shopping patterns,pricingand promotions strategies

• Beauty productknowledge,including beauty brands, seasonal trends,cosmeticsand various skincare products

As a Beauty Consultant, no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:

• Greet:

• 10ft: be friendly - smile, make eye contact, or wave

• 4ft: greet the guest, smile andinitiatea warm, helpful interaction

• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience

• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you

• Actively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude

• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

• Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities.

• Create an inviting shopping environment byexecutingsalesfloor processesforCoreBeautyand Beauty Studio areas, when applicable,which includefilling the salesfloor with inventory,straightening merchandise,updatingsalesfloor inventorycounts,maintainingtestersand making changes to salesfloor merchandise displays.

• Execute backroom processes forCoreBeautyand Beauty Studio areas, when applicable,which include organizing and storing reserveproducts.

• Stay current ontopbeauty brands and trends to engage guestswithpersonal recommendations and product sampling, building loyalty and brand affinity.

• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and localadult beveragelaws.

• Alwaysdemonstratea culture of ethical conduct,safetyand compliance.

• Work in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policies,best practices, and training; reporthazardsand correct where possible.

• All other dutiesbasedon business needs.

The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Beauty Consultant.Butthere are a few skills you should have from the get-go:

• 12+ monthspreviousbeauty retail experience preferred, but notrequired

• Strong interest and knowledge of beauty and skincare products

• Welcoming and helpful attitude towardallguests and other team members

• Ability to communicate onmultiplefrequency devices andoperatehandheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

• Effective communication skills

• Work both independently and with a team

• Resolve guest questions quicklyon the spot

• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment andaccomplishmultiple tasks within establishedtimeframes.

We are an awesome place to work and care about our teams, so we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics that we expect:

• Accurately handle cash register operationsas needed.

• Climb up and down ladders.

• Scan,handleand move merchandise efficiently and safely, includingfrequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44poundswithoutadditionalassistance from others.

• Variableworkschedule(e.g., nights,weekendsand holidays); come to work when scheduled,work scheduled shifts and take required mealand rest breaks.

• Capable of working in and exposure tovaryingtemperatures,humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.

• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
