Job description

BEA Americas delivers sensors, solutions, and accessories for activation and safety in several market segments including pedestrian and industrial automatic doors, vehicle gates and barriers, transportation, security and retail sensing applications. The Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for incoming and outgoing inspections to ensure BEA's quality standards are met. Attention to detail and excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) are critical in this role. The Quality Control Inspector I will be an Ideal Team Player who supports our mission to build a convenient, safe, automated world and works to achieve our vision of continued growth and market expansion.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct incoming inspection to validate arriving material meets BEA's quality standards with moderate supervision
  • Conduct outgoing inspection to validate material moved through the production process meets BEA's quality standards with moderate supervision
  • Accurately input data into appropriate data storage locations for all inspected material
  • Validate incoming and outgoing inspection documentation is available, organized, and complete
  • Provide In-Process Inspections as needed
  • Provide training and support for the Production team for quality-related process steps and other topics as needed.

Qualifications: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.
  • Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent experience is required, with demonstrated level of technical capability and responsibility.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated capability as a self-starter in a hands-on environment is required.
