Job description

Job Title:Sr. Business Development Representative

Location: US - Remote

Overview:
The Senior Business Development Representative (Sr. BDR) drives top-of-funnel pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-potential prospects across assigned industries and territories. This role combines proactive outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and strategic collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer success to convert opportunities into meetings and pipeline for Account Executives.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities via outbound outreach (calls, email, social), targeted campaigns, and events to build a predictable pipeline.

  • Qualify inbound leads quickly and accurately, converting Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and passing them to Account Executives with clear handoffs.

  • Execute account-based prospecting for named accounts: research buyers/stakeholders, map decision-making personas, and secure discovery meetings.

  • Create compelling outreach sequences and messaging that articulate business value and key use cases.

  • Manage and update CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) with activity, contact data, and opportunity status; maintain territory/account cadence and reporting.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine lead scoring, content/asset needs, and campaign targeting.

  • Partner with Sales, Solution Architects, and Customer Success to coordinate demos, proof-of-concept requests, and strategic plays for complex accounts.

  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for pipeline created, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities.

  • Provide market and prospect feedback to Sales Leadership and Product/Marketing to refine positioning and go-to-market strategies.

  • Mentor and coach junior BDRs; share best practices, cadences, and templates.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 4-7+ years of B2B sales development, business development, or lead generation experience (industry and/or SaaS experience preferred).

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota for pipeline creation and meetings set.

  • Strong experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft value-based messaging and run effective outreach campaigns.

  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with strong time-management and organizational skills.

  • Experience in the Supply Chain industry and Auto industry preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,810.01

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
