Manager, BDRs and Agentic Outbound

Contentstack

Austin, TX • On-site

Full-time

Job description

Who Are We Looking For?

Contentstack is looking for an AI-powered Manager, BDRs, and Agentic Outbound who is already thinking differently about outbound and is excited to bring a high-performing team along for the journey.

We have a talented, driven BDR team in Austin, and we're looking for a leader who genuinely cares about their growth, success, and day-to-day experience. Someone who creates a strong team culture, invests in people, and understands that great leadership and great results go hand in hand. This role will help redefine what modern outbound looks like at Contentstack. We're looking for someone who actively uses AI tools in their own workflow and knows how to turn that into scalable, practical strategies that help teams work smarter. From personalized outreach and smarter automation to stronger account prioritization and pipeline generation.

You'll partner closely with Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence & Technology, Marketing, and our EMEA BDR Team Lead to improve tooling, share best practices, and help build a more modern, globally aligned outbound motion. If you care deeply about the people you lead, get genuinely excited about the intersection of sales craft and AI, and want to be part of building something new, this is your role.

Here's What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead, coach, and genuinely care for our BDR tribe in Austin, investing in their growth as salespeople and as individuals
  • Bring AI into the team's daily workflow in practical, impactful ways: smarter prospecting, personalized outreach at scale, and automated follow-up that actually converts
  • Use intent signals and buying data to help the team focus on the right accounts at the right time, moving away from pure volume toward precision and quality
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Operations and BIT team to shape tools, optimize workflows, and build compelling business cases for new investments
  • Partner with our EMEA BDR Team Lead to align approaches, share learnings, and ensure consistency across regions
  • Work hand-in-hand with Marketing to connect BDR activity to demand generation programs and campaign timing
  • Build scalable, repeatable processes that make the team more effective without losing the human touch that makes great outbound actually work
  • Track performance through meaningful data, run fast experiments, and double down on what delivers results
  • Create a team culture that is curious, accountable, energized, and genuinely excited about finding better ways to do things
  • This role includes some travel and requires a full-time in-office presence
What Really Gets Us Excited About You?
  • 6-10 years of experience in sales development or outbound pipeline generation in a SaaS or technology environment
  • 2+ years leading a BDR or SDR team
  • You are a people-first leader who builds trust, develops talent, and creates an environment where people thrive
  • You use AI tools in your actual day-to-day work and can show the results - this is not a "familiar with AI" checkbox
  • You understand how to use AI for follow-up automation and personalization at scale without losing authenticity or relevance
  • You have built or redesigned an outbound motion before and can speak clearly about what you changed, why, and what happened
  • You are a strong collaborator who works well with Operations, BIT, and Marketing teams to get things done
  • You can build a clear business case when you want to introduce a new tool or approach and know how to bring stakeholders along
  • You thrive in a fast-moving environment where experimentation is encouraged and ownership is the norm
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
  • You value a fun, positive, collaborative culture!

OTE for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 based on skillset and experience
