Compensation: $150–$220/hour

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Management Consulting professionals interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. The role focuses on evaluating how effectively AI systems perform real-world consulting work.

Rather than producing traditional client deliverables, you will apply your consulting expertise to define what excellent work looks like, develop task-specific evaluation criteria, and assess completed work samples with rigorous, well-reasoned written justifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design precise, task-specific evaluation criteria for real-world consulting deliverables, including market analyses, strategic recommendations, financial models, client-ready presentations, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and score AI-generated and human-created work samples against established criteria.
  • Provide detailed written justifications explaining the rationale behind each evaluation and score.
  • Apply consistent, evidence-based professional judgment to ensure evaluations are reproducible and defensible.
  • Assess consulting deliverables for analytical rigor, strategic insight, accuracy, structure, and client readiness.
  • Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers and refine evaluations accordingly.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional Management Consulting experience.
  • Experience at a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or an equivalent leading consultancy.
  • Deep expertise in structured problem solving, market sizing, financial modeling, business-case development, and executive-level communication.
  • Strong ability to evaluate strategy recommendations, quantitative analyses, and client-ready presentations.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain why a deliverable does or does not meet professional consulting standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and consistent professional judgment.
  • Comfortable receiving structured feedback and calibrating evaluations against established standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing or evaluating consulting work products.
  • Experience mentoring consultants or reviewing analyst and associate-level deliverables.
  • Prior experience with AI training, model evaluation, or human-data projects.
  • Experience across multiple industries, functions, or strategic problem types.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation of $150–$220/hour.
  • Weekly payments.
  • Independent contractor engagement.
