If there is any question as to what is expected with curriculum, the teacher will seek guidance from their supervisor and/or Department ChairFollows and develops as necessary engaging and relevant Unit Plans using the Understanding by Design method. This includes the three progressive stages of: Goals/Objectives, Assessment, and Learning Plans (“Backward Design”). Each Unit includes strategies to immerse the student in a Biblically worldview as it related to the content being taughtParticipate as requested in Vertical Mapping (K-12) and data analysis planning sessions to ensure grade-level specific goals are current and consistentRegularly uses both formative and summative assessment strategies to provide frequent student feedback.
