Job description

Title: Community Health Event Coordinator - PRN, as needed for Hillsborough region
On-Site Coordinator

Summary:
The Community Health On Site Coordinator is responsible for health event management within community and corporate settings, including setup, breakdown, and transportation of materials. Engages with customers on health education, manages the on-site screening team, and ensures HIPAA-compliant documentation. Responsible for site safety, staff training, event management, and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders. Oversees event operations, customer service, inventory control, and staff performance, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations while keeping accurate operational event records. Conducts health screenings, identifying and educating on risk factors, and promoting lifestyle changes. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience in Community Health, Wellness, or Health Promotion and 1 year project management
  • Bachelor's of Healthcare or Related Field
  • BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Florida Driver's License
  • AHCA Level 2 background clearance

Location:
  • Home base county: Hillsborough County with other counties as assigned
  • Requires reliable transportation for travel within home base county and will include sister counties

Status and Shift:
  • PRN: as-needed
  • Events occur during the week and on weekends
  • Event shifts will vary between 2 and 8 hours
  • Scheduled 2-4 weeks in advance
