Registered Nurse (RN) Respiratory Clinic

Job Type: Full-Time 1.0 FTE or 80 hours/pp

Schedule: 8-hour Day shifts, M-F (7:30a-4pm or 8a-4:30p)

Join our Respiratory Clinic in Marquette, Michigan, and make a meaningful impact on patients living with chronic and acute pulmonary conditions. As an RN, you'll work alongside a collaborative, multi-disinplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. How you'll contribute

A Clinic RN who excels in this role:

  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
  • Assists with procedures and documents patient care given.
  • Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).

Additional requirements include

  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
