Substation professionals for energy infrastructure projects, Site Manager / Site Engineer

Join us in building Finland’s energy future

Would you like to contribute to some of Finland’s most significant substation, transmission grid, battery energy storage (BESS), and data center projects?

We are looking for talented professionals to strengthen our growing Energy Infrastructure team. You may be an experienced Site Manager, Site Engineer, or another professional with a background in substation and energy infrastructure projects. The exact scope of the role and responsibilities will be tailored according to your experience and expertise.

In this position, you will contribute to projects that enable electrification, support industrial investments, and create the energy infrastructure of tomorrow. The impact of your work will be visible for decades across Finnish society, businesses, and everyday life.

Your role and team

You will become part of Destia’s Energy Infrastructure organization, working closely with Project Managers, Designers, Site Teams, and Customers. Together, we deliver demanding substation, transmission grid, battery energy storage, and data center projects across Finland.

Depending on your background and experience, you may work as a Site Manager, Site Engineer, or in another specialist role within our substation project organization.

This is a permanent full-time position, with a starting date agreed separately.

What will you do?

You will play a key role in the successful delivery of substation projects, helping to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient project execution.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Technical coordination and execution management of substation projects
  • Monitoring site schedules, resources, and installation activities
  • Supervising subcontractors and suppliers
  • Participating in quality assurance, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Evaluating and developing technical solutions
  • Managing customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements
  • Supporting project planning, procurement, and reporting activities
