Job Overview:
  • The Processing Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and documenting computer-controlled manufacturing processes, including blending, heat treatment, clean-in-place (CIP) systems, and product line operations.ย 
  • This role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintains accurate production records, and supports safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong written, verbal, computer, and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and production records.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Experience working with computer-controlled manufacturing systems preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience in batch processing or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience operating computer-controlled production systems preferred.
  • Experience working in GMP-regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled blending processes.
  • Weigh, document, and stage batch ingredients using computer-controlled weighing systems.
  • Prepare, operate, monitor, and document clean-in-place (CIP) systems used for manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform product line operations including standardization and final water processes using ingredients, flavors, and oils.
  • Maintain GMP compliance through routine cleaning of equipment and production areas.
  • Support preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow batch work orders and operating procedures while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Receive and transport bulk raw materials and cleaning chemicals as required.
  • Prepare, operate, monitor, and document bulk slurry production processes.
  • Prepare, operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled heat treatment processes.
  • Support additional manufacturing and operational duties as assigned.
  • Ensure product quality and process compliance throughout all production activities.

Should Have:

  • Some college education or vocational training.
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
