Peoplesoft Batch Analyst

Job Description

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing large scale ERP systems handling HR, payroll, Benefits and/or financial functions.
  • Expert knowledge in Batch Processing Scheduling tool integration with ERP systems - Should have in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft run controls, security and inter module dependencies
  • Knowledge of any 'Managed File Transfer' product and how it's used to integrate with upstream/downstream applications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a combination of business analyst and project manager role.
  • Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft systems specific to HCM Modules (HR, PY, BN, AM)
  • Experience with project management software including Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and MS Office suite, Visio.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams.
  • Experience in understanding/interpreting business requirements, technical documents, workflows, use cases
  • Excellent written communications skills which demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and complex business concepts in technical terms
  • Experience tracking project issues and risks and work in a proactive way to avoid project timelines
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling small projects or activities with multiple teams that are not centrally located
  • Excellent oral communications skills which demonstrate the ability to effectively convey and explain information, and tactfully deal with diverse people, situations and ideas.

Duties will include:

  • Maintains, tracks, and monitor various Batch Processing tasks which include integration with multiple teams involving different technologies (PeopleSoft, Informatica, GoAnywhere, Control-M, SOA)
  • Assist in supporting project lead with identifying gaps, issues, risks & open items related to the project
  • Coordinates, schedules, and updates Batch Processing/File Transfer activities during UAT, operational readiness and Production go-live.
  • Assists in the creation of scope and requirements documents, workflows, and integration plans as well as implementation plans.
  • Work with minimum supervision and able to work well with stakeholders and project staff.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or business or equivalent work experience.
  • Following certifications a plus—
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
