Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Vallejo, California. The Compounder will be responsible for preparing and mixing various materials and chemical products according to specific formulations. Key day-to-day tasks include batch processing, quality control checks, operating manufacturing equipment, and adhering to safety and compliance guidelines. This role requires attention to detail and effective coordination with team members to ensure high-quality production standards.

Expected hours for this role are either 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Compounding and Batch Processing techniques to accurately prepare materials and mixtures based on defined formulas
  • Experience in Quality Control to ensure product consistency and adherence to industry standards
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely
  • Strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and adherence to workplace guidelines
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a focus on maintaining safety protocols
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the workday.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with chemical handling procedures is a plus
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other industrial equipment; certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $26 – $30 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
