Position Summary:
The Production Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations in the chemical blending and bottling process. This role involves handling raw materials, operating blending and filling equipment, monitoring product quality, and packaging finished goods while strictly adhering to safety, environmental, and quality protocols. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
New Hire Bonus: $250 at 90 days and then another $250 at 6 months.
Shift: 1st - 6:00am - 2:30pm PST
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Measure, mix, and blend raw chemical materials according to batch instructions and production schedules.
  • Operate and monitor machinery used in the bottling and packaging of liquid chemical products.
  • Fill containers (bottles, jugs, drums, totes) with finished product using automated or semi-automated systems.
  • Label, cap, seal, and package products according to production specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on in-process and finished products for correct formulation, volume, packaging, and/or labeling.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and material usage reports.
  • Follow all safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials (HAZMAT).
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, sanitation, and changeovers between product batches.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, including routine housekeeping tasks.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Support inventory control by reporting raw material usage and packaging supply needs.

Requirements:
  • Preferred 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, batch sheets, and safety protocols.
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Willingness to work with chemicals using appropriate PPE.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work overtime if required.
  • Experience in chemical blending or handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) a plus.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or ISO standards preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry or using production software.

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and business needs.
