We're looking for someone with an eagerness to learn and sanding, grinding, or autobody repair experience to join our dynamic team and help us continue producing world-class boats.
JOB SUMMARY:
Prepare the boats for assembly by grinding and smoothing rough edges and rough surfaces of the boat sections and/or parts. Drill all holes and cut the panel and deck openings per each order or model requirements and measurements.
JOB DUTIES
  • Use of air-powered sanders, grinders, drills, hole saws, mini-saws and air file
  • Assure that all surfaces and parts have all edges smooth and that holes are cut in proper location
  • Heavy sustained physical effort and exposure to extremely dusty and noisy environmental conditions
  • Operator wears full-face respirator, tyvex suit and hearing protection while performing sanding operation
  • Keep work area and equipment clean and in proper operating condition

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be able to wear full-face respirator 8+ hours plus per day
  • Have good quality habits
  • Have good attendance habits
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Use of air powered hand tools such as pneumatic grinders and saws
  • Ability to perform walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continual basis
  • Ability to work in heat
  • Ability to work around extreme dust, noise and with fiberglass particles
  • Manual dexterity
  • Use of tape measure
