Job description

Pay: $20.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed including Saturday – start times may very depending on department. Current start times include: 7:00am, 8:00am, and 12:00pm.

Location: Indy North - 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268

Job Type: Internship - not benefits eligible

Job Duration: Approximately 12 weeks (Late May/Early June through August)

Internship Goals:

  • Learning departmental processes and procedures
  • Identify, develop, and deploy your personal leadership style within a high-demand distribution facility
  • Develop the skills needed to prioritize and delegate daily workload to ensure completion and accuracy
  • Identify your “Team Relate” types and how to use them to be successful
  • Identify and contribute to any department related CI projects

 What You Bring:

  • College Junior or Senior working toward management, logistics, supply chain, or a similar degree program
  • Previous leadership experience – highly preferred
  • A keen eye for identifying process or system errors with a drive to improve those processes
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
