IT Intern
Department: Information Technology
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Flexible scheduling options may be available, including a potential four-day workweek
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Position Summary
The IT Intern will provide support to the Information Technology team by assisting with daily IT operations, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, system deployment, and infrastructure support. This position provides hands-on experience with end-user support, hardware, networking, and IT processes while working closely with a designated mentor. 
Essential Responsibilities
The IT Intern will assist with:
1.      Providing end-user troubleshooting and technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues
2.      Performing device maintenance, setup, configuration, and basic repairs
3.      Assisting with system deployments, including preparing and installing equipment
4.      Managing and updating IT support tickets to ensure issues are tracked and resolved
5.      Supporting physical layer setup, including cabling, equipment connections, and workstation setup
6.      Assisting with network diagnostics and troubleshooting connectivity issues
7.      Maintaining hardware documentation and assisting with hardware mapping
8.      Supporting inventory tracking and organization of IT equipment
9.      Learning and following established IT procedures, security practices, and documentation standards
Qualifications
1.      Interest in pursuing a career in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
2.      Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts

Mentorship & Development
The IT Intern will receive hands-on training and mentorship from our System Administrator while gaining practical experience supporting business technology systems and IT operations.
Internship Program Opportunity
This position is part of a 12-week internship program designed to provide hands-on experience and professional development within the Information Technology field.
Upon successful completion of the internship, and based on business needs, performance, qualifications, and overall fit, this position may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time employment opportunity. An evaluation will be completed at the conclusion of the internship to determine next steps.
