A social worker is a trained professional who helps individuals, families, and communities improve their well-being and cope with challenges in their lives. They provide support, resources, and advocacy for people facing issues such as mental health problems, abuse, poverty, or family difficulties. Social workers can work in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, government agencies, and private practices. Their main goal is to empower clients and connect them with the services they need to lead healthier, more stable lives.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a social worker?

To thrive as a Social Worker, you need a solid understanding of social work principles, case management, and often a degree in social work (BSW or MSW) with relevant state licensure.
