Associate, Baseball Operations

Reports To: Manager, Baseball Operations
Job Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Description:

The Associate, Baseball Operations role is a comprehensive 12-month program designed to prepare entry level candidates for a career in professional baseball operations.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare advance scouting materials for the Major League team.
  • Evaluate players, including identifying and assessing potential trade and free agent targets.
  • Support the preparation and organization of Salary Arbitration materials.
  • Assist Baseball Operations, Pro Scouting, and Quantitative Analysis staff with daily responsibilities and special projects.
  • Analyze video and tag relevant data utilizing internal systems.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of baseball.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
