Position at Hood Distribution
Hood Distribution is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber & plywood as well as related specialty wood products whose customers include cabinet shops, furniture manufacturers, millwork houses and other related businesses.
Hood Distribution is looking for an Outsides Sales Representative for its High Point, NC facility, covering Northern North Carolina, West Virginia, Southeast West Virginia and East Tennessee territory. The successful candidate should have experience in sales and marketing of products to businesses. Experience in wood products (panels, lumber, and moulding) is a major plus.
MONTHLY COMMISSION POTENTIAL
Requirements:
  • Within a defined territory, generate sales of wood and wood products to wholesale and end-user commercial customers at planned profit margins by developing effective business relationships with customers.
  • Meet customer needs by providing needed products and establishing high quality and customer responsiveness expectations.
  • Coordinate outside sales efforts with inside sales reps.
  • Assure that the inside sales force is aware of customer service, or quality issues that could affect business.
  • Support existing and new customers in receiving credit approvals or resolving accounts receivables questions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints.

Salary Range: $48,500 - $62,500 base plus commission (potential $0.00-$2700.00/month - plus possibly MORE!)
