What are barrios?

Barrios are neighborhoods or districts within cities or towns, primarily found in Spanish-speaking countries or communities. The term 'barrio' can refer to a specific geographic area, often characterized by shared cultural, social, or economic traits. In some places, barrios may represent administrative divisions, while in others, they simply denote informal neighborhood communities. The characteristics and significance of a barrio can vary depending on the country and local context.
