Lead One of New England's Busiest and Most Exciting Restaurant Concepts

Barrio Portsmouth is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on General Manager to lead our high-volume restaurant and bar operation.

This is not a desk job. We are looking for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspires teams, drives sales, and delivers exceptional guest experiences every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead all daily restaurant operations
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain top talent
  • Drive sales and profitability
  • Manage labor, food, beverage, and operating costs
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, and food quality
  • Create a positive, high-energy culture for employees and guests
  • Execute promotions, events, and community involvement initiatives
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and hospitality

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years General Manager experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Proven success managing P&L performance
  • Passion for hospitality and guest experience
  • Ability to lead from the floor and work alongside the team
  • Experience with bar operations and beverage programs preferred
