Job description

Encanto Golf Course, located in Phoenix, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Snack Bar Supervisor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fastpaced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities of the Snack Bar Supervisor:

  • Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
  • Prepares and serves food and beverage items. Including cooking using a grill, fryer, and flattop.
  • Maintains organized and clean work area.
  • Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food beverage products.
  • Receives deliveries of product from vendors and ensures proper storage.
  • Reports to department manager when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Stocks and inventories products.
  • Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
  • Supplies support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
  • Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Regional Food and Beverage Manager
  • Reviews schedule for changes, calendar of events and facility activities on a daily basis.
  • Processes snack bar purchases with TOAST point of sales (POS) system
  • Accountable for cash and credit transactions.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

In addition to the standard Snack Bar Attendant duties, the Supervisor will assist with

  • Scheduling
  • Training
  • Social Media Content Production
  • Inventory Management, including monthly count, invoice tracking, and occasional ordering\Daily Deposit Verification.

This position is also considered a Lead among Beverage Cart Attendants.

Individual must be comfortable in working in Beverage Cart conditions (Outside) as well as the Snack Bar area which includes the use of kitchen equipment

Minimum Qualifications of the Lead Snack Bar Attendant:

  • No Experience necessary but will train.
  • Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol and has obtained Certified Managers Food Handler's Card and Title IV Certification.

Other Qualifications:

  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems.
