Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist Downtown. This is a full-time opportunity.Transporter, Job Responsibilities:
  • Accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher
  • To provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient;
  • This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
  • Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
  • Be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
