Banquets Server
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquet Server. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting banquet guests, taking orders accurately, and serving food. You will assist the banquets team in all aspects of banquets functions from start to finish. As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love, guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll ensure event spaces are perfectly arranged according to specifications, creating a welcoming and seamless environment for our guests. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly enhance both guest satisfaction and the overall success of events.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
  • Know how to read the banquet event orders (BEO's) and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
  • Serve guests according to resort standard in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • At all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, fellow associates and management.

  • Prior experience as a server and set-up houseperson.
  • General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations.
  • Must be flexible to work long hours including weekends and holidays.
