This role is responsible for researching, initiating, coordinating, and managing assigned business projects from planning through rollout. Solutions may not always be fully defined at the outset, requiring strong judgment, structured delivery practices, and coordination across multiple technical teams and external vendors. Assigned projects are typically highly complex, multidisciplinary, and support the Bank’s revenue and strategic objectives.**Major responsibilities:*** Manage multiple large, cross-functional projects by developing, maintaining, and administering project plans that define scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.* Serve as the lead business coordinator for project teams, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and accountability for successful project delivery.* Recommend methods, procedures, and technologies that improve project processes and support more effective delivery.* Manage project rollout activities, ensuring processes, procedures, training, client communications, and user guides are completed before transition to business as usual.* Oversee project implementation by developing or coordinating project plans, facilitating meetings, gaining consensus, and preparing communications and status updates for senior management.* Plan and conduct analysis of complex business problems, identifying root causes, impacts, and potential solutions.* Monitor and report project, portfolio, and business trends that may affect delivery progress, risk, or prioritization.* Explain complex business problems, solution options, and delivery impacts clearly to senior management.* Ensure projects remain on target by identifying issues, driving resolution, escalating risks as appropriate, and keeping management informed of project status.* Coordinate project flow with impacted departments across the Bank and communicate business problems, solution options, and delivery impacts clearly to senior management.* Identify business needs quickly and translate them into clear business requirements, applying comprehensive knowledge of the Bank’s business processes, systems, and organizational workflows.* Assist in reviewing long-range business plan proposals based on current and anticipated business needs, strategic priorities, and delivery capacity.* Participate in portfolio reviews, project governance routines, and reporting activities that provide visibility into status, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.* Manage multiple stakeholder relationships by aligning expectations, resolving competing priorities, and maintaining clear communication across project teams.* Prepare comprehensive business cases for proposed project investments, including ongoing costs, revenue forecasts, and client pipelines.**Qualifications:*** Typically requires 7+ years of demonstrated experience leading and managing large, complex projects that cross business lines and organizational functions.* Experience managing projects within both agile and waterfall environments.* PMP and CSM certifications preferred.* Process improvement and Six Sigma experience preferred.* Knowledge of Treasury Management products preferred.* Knowledge of project management reporting and portfolio management tools, including Planview and Clarity.* Knowledge of AI tools and their practical application within a project management environment.* Advanced proficiency in Visio and Excel.* Power BI and Copilot skills preferred.* Requires comprehensive knowledge of customer strategies, practices, and priorities to support effective decision-making.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues with precision, prepare executive-level materials, and conduct effective reviews.* Ability to organize and facilitate effective meetings appropriate to the topic, audience, and decision required.* Ability to recognize and communicate an effective course of action on difficult projects and provide guidance to project team members on communication matters.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.* Ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal networks across the organization.* Ability to provide guidance to project team members on project management practices, expectations, and delivery standards.* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and demonstrate excellent personal time-management skills.* Ability to develop and maintain complex project plans and manage work in accordance with defined methodologies.* Effective management skills in a matrix environment where project participants report to managers outside the project structure.The typical base pay range for this role is between $128k-$160k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
