What is the opportunity?

In this position, you will be reviewing and analyzing client documentation for our RBC Wealth Management businesses. You will ensure a superior level of service is always maintained and share knowledge of pending issues and escalate items where necessary to the supervisor or manager. You will also be working in collaboration with other groups within Wealth Management Canadian Operations. Most importantly, you will be accountable for ensuring all risk management and compliance policies are adhered to while always keeping the front-end client in mind. Work Hours from 9:30 to 5:30.

What will you do?

  • Accurately review, verify, and/or record data supporting department processes. Execute daily activities to ensure system processes are performing as desired. Resolve exceptions ensuring adherence to all regulatory and firm policy requirements.
  • Liaise and provide support for individuals requiring problem resolution, or securing information from other Operations departments, or RBC Business Units. Address escalated questions independently, seeking assistance from Manager as appropriate, following established department procedures.
  • Reduce risk or increase efficiencies by suggesting process changes and system modifications. Participate in testing and implementation of new systems and processes as required.
  • Provide accurate analysis and processing support for manual, exception-based, complex, and/or highly specialized processes within a specific Operation's department.
  • Train and act as a resource for less experienced Operation's team members.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • University degree or 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to understand and meet daily business needs on an ongoing basis
  • Ability to gather and analyze relevant information clearly and effectively

Nice-to-have

  • 3 years or more of business, finance, customer service, and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Previous experience in the securities or banking industry
  • Ability to integrate Excel and Access databases into daily work
