Our Banking and Capital Markets Advisory practice are seeking a Manager to strengthen our Banking offering in the Toronto office. We are looking for curious and motivated professionals who have demonstrated their ability to motivate a team and deliver exceptional, focused customer service. 


What you will do

As a Manager in our Banking and Capital Markets Advisory practice, you will use your strong business acumen and be a key member of a high performing team. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from banking industry service specialists and improve your skills through the following activities: 

  • You will be at the forefront of our banking solutions ecosystem, leveraging your operational and technical skills to assess, capture and translate complex business issues for our clients. 
  • You will design, build, develop, and optimize comprehensive business solutions that precisely align with organizational requirements. 
  • You will use your abilities as strategic project leader to take ownership of defining, orchestrating, and successfully delivering complex projects. 
  • You will cultivate and deepen relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. 
  • You will guide a diverse team of professionals during project implementation. 
  • You will gain a deep understanding of our clients’ business needs and the banking industry. 
  • You will contribute to proposals and demonstrations in response to potential customer requests. 

What you bring to the role
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Management/Business Administration, Engineering, Business Information/Technology, Finance or Data Sciences. 
  • 5-8years of experience in consulting and/or banking services (Required). 
  • Experience in planning and tracking projects, comfortable to work with executive stakeholders and have superior communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements clearly and articulately. 
  • Proficient in the Microsoft office suite, particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating a collaborative and supportive spirit. 
  • Sense of responsibility in the execution of their work, motivation to achieve their full potential and understanding of the importance of human relations (clients, future clients, their communities, and the global firm). 
  • Open to learning and discovering new sectors and business functions. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $140,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
