JOB DESCRIPTION

The Consumer Bank (CB) Product Portfolio Operations team is responsible for advancing CB product operating models and mobilizing product teams to deliver initiatives at scale that align with CB Strategic Objectives. 

As a Product Portfolio Operations Associate in Consumer Bank agile product portfolio, you will play a key role in supporting the alignment of product investments and roadmaps to Consumer Bank Strategic Objectives. You will help mobilize product teams to deliver large-scale initiatives by preparing executive-level presentations, memos, and communications that update senior leaders on product portfolio priorities and progress. Through collaboration with cross-functional partners and a focus on continuous improvement, you will contribute to better business and product outcomes across the organization.  

Job responsibilities 

  • Supports efforts to coordinate across products to ensure delivery against business objectives 
  • Aids in collecting key inputs from across products to ensure our full product-line framework highlights our core cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs  
  • Calculates basic metrics for portfolio management operations  
  • Develops change initiative materials 
  • Prepares high-quality executive communications, presentations, and reporting 
  • Tracks and documents product investment decisions, roadmaps, and key initiatives, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. 
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of planning processes and deliverables, including portfolio roadmaps and performance metrics. 
  • Collaborates with product, technology, design, and data teams to collect information and monitor initiative status. 
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualizations that provide meaningful performance, capacity, and operational insights for stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate an automation-forward mindset, proactively challenging manual processes and implementing sustainable solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization 
  • Proven ability to support the implementation of operational effectiveness initiatives 
  • Prior experience using techniques and tools in relation to data analytics  
  • Strong analytics and reporting experience, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field 
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver impactful storytelling tailored for executive-level presentations.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Confluence, and Jira.  
  • Skilled at translating complex information into clear, engaging, and persuasive messages that resonate with senior audiences. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously. 
  • Demonstrated capability to influence, align, and build consensus among stakeholders across the organization to drive successful outcomes.  

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Advanced Excel expertise, including complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data modeling, scenario analysis, and large dataset management.
