About the Job
Job Description:
REGIONAL federal credit union, a leading provider of banking products and financial services serving Northwest Indiana, is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant to join our team. We have immediate opening in our Winfield office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide a variety of administrative activities necessary to assist leadership in research, report preparation, information requests and clerical support.
  • Assist leadership with board material and meeting preparation.
  • Coordinate and schedule monthly and quarterly meetings for Board Committees as well as coordinate, compile and prepare reports to be discussed at the meetings. This includes the dissemination of those reports to attendees with great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in computer programs, duplicate, and disseminate materials for board meetings, including agendas, minutes, and committee reports.
  • Assist in scheduling and/or arranging appointments, meetings, business trips, etc. for the Executive Leadership, board members and other members of the leadership team.
  • Maintain and update administrative records, policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Adhere to all applicable Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations
  • Coordinate and assist with preparation for all meetings involving the Executive Leadership team. Perform duties such as executive budgeting, editing reports, policies and correspondence for the credit union as requested.
  • Maintain schedules and calendar of Executive Leadership as requested.
  • Disseminate informational mailings and articles to the Board of Directors, leadership team and others.
  • Responsible for logistics of the Annual Credit Union Business meeting, including submissions of Board nominations, compiling Board annual reports for the Annual Report, and annual meeting minutes, with strict adherence to regulation timelines.
  • Compose, process, and sign standard letters for Executive Leadership. Ensure accuracy of work.
  • Keep Executive Leadership advised of complaints, phone calls, and letters received. Coordinate follow-through on pending issues.
  • Provides administrative support to Human Resources.
  • Perform other duties as requested and/or assigned.
Position Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in an administrative function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Acrobat Adobe.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work well with others, dependability, initiative, resourcefulness, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills.
Full-Time benefits include:
