Job description

Join our fast-growing team at Mercantile Bank as a Part-Time Live ATM Banker and experience the excitement of providing exceptional customer service with the ability to work a hybrid remote schedule after the initial training period. This position can be based in Alma or Wyoming, MI. Not sure what a Live ATM is? Think virtual meeting paired with an ATM machine.
Schedule:9:00am-6:00pm three days a week and Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers from all over the state of Michigan with their Live ATM transactions and inquiries
  • Utilize technology to assist customers virtually
  • Wow customers with your problem solving and ability to think "outside the box (or ATM machine)

What We're Looking For
To excel as a Part-Time Live ATM Banker at Mercantile Bank, you must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers in a virtual setting. Your ability to stay organized, pay attention to detail, and manage time efficiently will be crucial in processing transactions accurately and meeting deadlines. With one to three years of experience in customer service, call center operations, or the financial industry, you will bring valuable insights into the role.
Demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and delivering top-notch service. Your adaptability and problem-solving abilities will be essential in resolving customer inquiries and ensuring a positive banking experience.
Schedule
The Live ATM department is open 8:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am-1:00pm on Saturdays. 9:00am-6:00pm three days a week and Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm. You'll be expected to be in-office for the first few months while you're learning the features of the various systems and problem solving the needs of customers. After you're comfortable with the systems, processes, and Mercantile products and services you will have the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days per week if you wish. You must be able to come into the office at least once a week.
