Blood Bank Technologist – Overnight Shift

Location: Detroit, MI 48201
Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Seeking a Blood Bank Technologist to perform routine and complex transfusion services testing on the overnight shift in a busy laboratory setting in Detroit.

Responsibilities:
  • ABO/Rh typing, antibody screening, and crossmatching
  • Resolve antibody identification and compatibility issues
  • Issue blood products per hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Support emergency release and STAT transfusion needs
  • Maintain accurate lab records and ensure QC compliance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
  • ASCP certification (MLS or BB) preferred or eligible
  • Blood bank experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently overnight
