JOB SUMMARY
Oversee and manage banking center day to day operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to ensure an excellent customer experience for all customers and employees. Acknowledges customers' needs with suggestions and referrals of appropriate Bank products and services. Perform all tasks accurately and efficiently while remaining in compliance with the established Bank policies and procedures. These individuals will need to be outgoing, highly organized, detail oriented, flexible, adaptable and results driven. They must demonstrate ability to work independently and with a team, make sound decisions and use critical thinking skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs all UB role duties at a proficient level
    • UB I - primarily teller line transactions and simple account maintenance
    • UB II - new account opening and more complex account maintenance
    • UB III - consumer lending and maintaining NMLS
  • Possesses expert level of knowledge around all teller line activities
  • Responsible for overseeing all teller line operational processes to ensure assigned banking center complies with all compliance policies and procedures set forth by the Bank
  • Responsible for all reporting pertaining to teller line operations; including but not limited to variances, audits, cash levels, compliance training, safe deposit boxes, etc.
  • Communicates frequently with banking center leadership around status of banking center operations to include but not exclusive to audits, cash activities and levels, operational checklists, required tasks and compliance training
  • Ensure accuracy around CTRs, check holds, and adherence to procedures and processes
  • Consistently demonstrates engagement skills and the ability to uncover customer needs
  • Ability to delegate tasks appropriately
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to make appropriate risk-based decisions, including providing overrides and approvals
  • Takes on an operational leadership role in the banking center and serves as a mentor to others
  • Will serve as back up to manager in their absence
  • Contributes to and supports strategic initiatives
  • May seek additional involvement such as internal committees or corporate initiatives
  • Continuously looks for opportunities to develop and enhance skills
  • May process consumer loan applications and maintain NMLS number

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Two years of banking experience required; four or more preferred
  • Minimum of one year of new account experience required
  • Must be operationally strong and able to lead the day-to-day operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Must have smartphone (iOS or Android) that is able to support security features required by the Bank's IT security guidelines
